Deadline Approaching in Iowa for SBA Working Capital Loans Due to Drought
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Director Jeffrey Lusk of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West today reminded small nonfarm businesses in nine Iowa counties and neighboring counties in Nebraska and South Dakota of the Dec. 1 deadline to apply for an SBA federal disaster loan for economic injury. These low-interest loans are to offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought in the following primary counties that began April 1. Primary Iowa counties:

Gov. Reynolds Announces Third Round of Child Care Business Incentive Grants
DES MOINES – Gov. Reynolds announced today a third round of funding for the Child Care Business Incentive Grant Program to encourage employers to offer child care as a benefit to their employees. This round of the Child Care Business Incentive Grant Program will provide $5 million to support child care projects in Iowa.
