FREE HIKE AT VINCENT BLUFF NATURE PRESERVE Come on out for a hike in the Loess Hills in Council Bluffs near Old Skyline Drive at one of the most spectacular viewsheds in the region! Please consider joining members of the Loess Hills Preservation Society for a terrific outdoor activity including a hike and interpretative program this coming Saturday at Vincent Bluff Nature Preserve, Iowa's newest State Preserve, created by the LHPS along with the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation with participation by the City of Council Bluffs. Consider sticking around to help experts as a volunteer, too, complete restoration work to learn more. The Preserve is a very special, quiet place, and also one of the only urban prairie preserves in the Loess Hills landform, if not the entire country.
