Life Dimensions Presents: Journeying with the Wisdom of Power Animals with Kate Abbott Jobe

This insightful and empowering workshop will be facilitated by Kate Abbott Jobe. Power Animals are integral to shamanic journeying. They act as guides and interpreters and provide infinite creative assistance and support during your journeys. In the session you will journey to meet and identify Power Animal/s who will assist you to retrieve information related to the animals and lessons of the East on the Medicine Wheel: the direction of Spring; New Beginnings and of Saying What is So, When It is So, Without Blame or Judgement.

Two Journeys will be experienced, possibly three if time and group focus allows; with discussion and recording of notes after each one and a 15 minute break held in the middle.

NOTE: Those individuals who are already aware of the Power Animal who is their support during journeying may discover a new one who will specifically work with them during these sessions.

Who Can Attend:

This workshop is designed to be relevant to experienced and first-time participants.

What Is Provided:

Yoga mats, bolsters and light blankets will be provided if you choose to journey while lying on the floor.  Note: You do not need to lie on your back to effectively participate.  You may also lie on your side; sit on the floor with your back against the wall, or sit in a chair.  Some chairs will be available for this choice. Eye masks will be provided for you to keep and will be included in the ticket price. If a form of creative expression is added to a session, any supplies needed for this will be provided at no extra charge to you. Pens will be available for writing. Water, herbal tea and light, nutritious snacks will be available for you to enjoy during the break.

What to Bring:

Your favorite mat if you prefer to use it, rather than those available; a journal or spiral notebook and your favorite pen if you have one. Warm socks or slippers (the body cools down during journeying.); Your favorite crystals and/or any other items you want to put on the altar.

About the Presenter:

Kate Jobe has been Shamanic Practitioner in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area for over 25 years. During this time, she has provided intuitive readings, insightful card readings, Shamanic Healing and Usui and Holy Fire Reiki as well as family conflict mediation.  She has studied with Mary Katherine Burgess of White Buffalo Associates, Hawaiian Shamanism with Larry Kessler, has taken numerous workshops, including a two year intensive, as well as Shamanic Healing of Ancestral Wounds, with Myron Eschowsky and took many workshops over a ten year time span from Herb Stevenson, One White Standing Horse. Kate offers remote and in person healing sessions, including space clearings, personalized empowerment coaching and dream work, and classes for all ages that can incorporate shamanic journeying, meditation and creative expression. In addition to her shamanic calling, Kate has been a prolific artist all her life. It is Kate’s belief that each of us has a story within us that, when explored and understood, will reveal our true beauty and lead us to experience a more fulfilling and purposeful life. Kate has merged her two passions of creative expression and healing to assist others to achieve empowerment, personal awareness and a higher level of vitality in their lives.  Regardless of the form in which Kate channels her energy, whether through the art she creates or the words she uses in verbally recounting the symbolic images of a client’s story she sees during a healing session with them, her focus is to provide artful healing for the human spirit.
