Please join this discussion on how to provide support to our local supervisors and leads of direct-line staff through the unique stressors that began over the past year. Promise Partners, in partnership with Iowa ACEs 360, is pleased to present Trauma Informed Supervisor Training. The Director of Iowa ACEs 360 will lead this informational, strategic discussion, providing tips and methods to building and maintaining a stronger team. Our workforce leaders are managing their usual work place projects and staff under the pressures brought on by current events, while also managing their own personal stressors due to COVID-19. To have the strongest workforce possible, organizational leaders and supervisors of direct-line staff must understand the impact of secondary traumatic stress and compassion fatigue, as well as effective trauma-informed strategies, to support their workforce.  This zoom session is ideal for supervisors and team leads, and will help attendees to: - Understand the impact of living under ongoing threat or uncertainty as a complicating factor of secondary traumatic stress and as an opportunity for focused development of coping skills and protective factors, - Discuss tensions that arise from polarized reactions to the pandemic that impact team members, and - Identify supervision strategies to support coping for team members now, and anticipate strategies needed in the future.   We look forward to seeing you there!
