Description
Human trafficking is a form of modern slavery that occurs in every state, including Iowa. Globally, an estimated 25 million people are subjected to human trafficking and forced labor. It erodes the safety and health of our communities.
As the anti-trafficking movement continues to grow, we are learning more about how people, such as medical professionals, teachers, hotel staff, truck drivers, restaurant personnel, and others can help identify and report possible trafficking.
Join the CB Chamber at this eye-opening Women Inspiring Women session to learn about the impact human trafficking has on our community and the efforts being taken to serve the victims and survivors. The guest speakers for this program include local professionals who are working to stop human trafficking in our region.
