Licensed Therapist (LIMHP or LP) – Adult Behavioral Health
Provides evidence-based treatment for adults referred to the Behavioral Health Clinic
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Provides individual therapy to adults and assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base.

Provides psychotherapy services to clients each week.

Conducts clinical assessments.

Meets monthly clinical productivity expectations.

Assists in establishing and maintaining a referral base from Boys Town, medical providers, other treatment providers, and the general community.

Provides clinical consultation with referral base for the purpose of coordinating care for clients.

Obtains ongoing education related to the fields of clinical psychology and clinical assessment and intervention.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of adult psychology with an emphasis on integrative approaches for addressing affective, physiological, cognitive, behavioral, and spiritual needs of clients.

Ability to apply psychological principles to therapeutic interventions with individuals and couples.

Skill in conducting clinical assessments, determining diagnoses, providing therapy, and treatment planning for adults.

Proficiency in assessing and treating a wide range of clinical concerns and diagnoses, such as mood disorders, anxiety and fears, trauma- and stressor-related conditions, and ADHD.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of people.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensed at the LIMHP or Doctoral (LP) level required.

Experience providing psychological services to adults required.

Includes constant interruptions, inappropriate behaviors, and the potential for verbal and physical threats from youth.
