Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift
How would you contribute? This role is a contributing member of our Airlite Plastics team, located in Omaha, NE. As a Warehouse Associate you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing manufactured products within the warehousing facilities by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and procedures.
- Inspect orders to ensure accuracy of product type and quantity, ensure labeling is correct.
- Operate reach trucks and forklift as needed to transport skids and products to staging or storage areas.
- Record products being stored, moved or shipped using scanners and computers.
- Process UPS and air freight shipments to required procedures.
- Floor load trailers at a pace equal to that of the product pickers.
- Maintain inventory controls per procedures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain attendance within company standards.
- Responsible for reporting food safety problems to management.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Minimum of three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
- Capability to utilize problem solving skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members.
- Must be self-motivated and positive.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
- Basic computer skills.
- Uphold and support organizational goals and values.
- Take the initiative to ask for and offer help when needed.
Certification and License:
- Airlite Plastics Forklift license is required
